Fashion Show

It was a nice enough day to have the fashion show out by the lake, runway set up, chairs, table with snacks, a curtained-off backstage area and everything.

"Nice," Angela says. "I'm glad that's over for you. How do you think you did?"

"I think I did really well," She answers, obviously pleased with herself. "I guess all that time spent studying here paid off."

A shame she won't be putting it to any practical use career-wise in her own world.

"I'm hoping that my good grades will help prove to my parents that I can handle things when I explain to them about Cain."

"Yeah. I don't envy you that particular talk, really."

She grins. "Cain looked pretty good up there." She nudges Molly playfully.

"Yes he did... yummy, in fact." She takes a sip of her chamagne and giggles a bit. "I should probably go and see if I can steal him away for a bit, since I only have a couple of hours."

She laughs. "Let me not stand in the way of true love," she says, fluttering her eyelashes.

Molly laughs, too.

"All right, I'm going. It was good to see you! I know it probably doesn't seem like it to you, but I've been gone for two weeks since the last time I was here, and probably more like three months for me since I last talked to you!"

She sets down her empty glass on a nearby table, feeling pleasantly tipsy.

"Hopefully now that school is over I'll have more time for fun stuff with friends!"

"I certainly hope so. We haven't done nearly all of the girl talk we should be indulging in, after all!"

"We'll have to correct that as soon as possible!" Molly agrees. "But in the meantime, I'm going to go see if I can't get into some trouble worth gossiping about."

She waggles her eyebrows and gives Angela a quick hug.

"Take care!"

Angela hugs back, laughing. "See you later."
