Fashion Show

It was a nice enough day to have the fashion show out by the lake, runway set up, chairs, table with snacks, a curtained-off backstage area and everything.

Wednesday has never really been one for parties, even the ones her parents gave where she actually felt like she belonged. However, she liked Clive and she had helped out a bit, so it was only fair that she show up to give her support.

Even if all she's doing is sort of hanging at the back of the crowd.

Clive, in the suit that Sally had made for him, and his top hat very nearly pounced her, giving her a quick hug before stepping away, "Thanks for the fabric, that's what Angela's dress was made of."

She stiffens a little when he hugs her, but doesn't look to be terribly upset about it.

"It looked really nice. I'm glad it was useful."

He grinned outright, "Working on making myself a pair of pants, can't get the hems right just yet, but I'm trying, and there's more than enough of it."

He smiled again, nodding, "Thanks. I'll definitely let you know."

Wednesday nods back and then pauses.

"It was a good show."

His smile returned, "Thanks. I didn't expect it to be so big, I mean, I was expecting one or two people and doing a photoshoot, but this was so much better."

"Yes, there are... a lot of people here." She glances around, nervously.

He nodded, looking over the crowd that had gathered, "Not too many, but more than I was expecting." He smiled again, "Glad you came."

Her lips twitch in what should be a smile.

"I wouldn't have missed it."
